After high school, he attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he earned his bachelor’s degree. From there, he moved to Little Rock to attend medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. (UAMS) He remained at UAMS for the four years of his neurology residency.
Upon completing residency, Dr. Davis practiced as a hospital neurologist at Baptist Health North Little Rock before deciding to return to his hometown to open his own neurology practice.
His wife, Athena, works as the practice manager of Davis Neurology. Athena worked at Southwest Airlines as a supervisor from 1998-2004. When the airline laid off a large portion of it’s workforce in the Little Rock area, she changed direction and went to work at UAMS in the neurology clinic. Two years later, she went to work in an administrative capacity within the neurology department, still at UAMS. After almost 8 years, in 2012, Athena and Dr. Davis decided to open their own clinic in Russellville. Their son Barrett was born December 2009.
