Susan Avant Hooten graduated from Dardenelle High School and continued her studies at Arkansas Tech University.  She immediately began working in the Neuro ICU after she finished nursing school in 2008.  While working at St. Vincent's and Saint Mary's, she continued her studies and earned her masters degree.  Susan is a natural fit at Davis Neurology with her years of experience in the NeuroICU.

Susan is married to Nicholas (Nick) Hooten and they have two daughters together: Emma and Anniston.  

​

Susan is a frequent runner, plays the piano, and attends church with her family as much as possible.
